Copper Clad
Electrical contacts
The CMC-3PLY is composed of pure bronze and mild steel for increased strength and better machinability compared to traditional pure bronze solids. Of course, you’ll also benefit from the relatively low cost and light weight of iron, which means lower costs and better workability.
Applicable for the full range of electric actuation applications and as a phosphor bronze replacement for some relatively low-strength, low-springiness applications.
* Alternative materials: brass, electroplated, phosphor bronze
Flexible electrical contacts (for parts requiring high strength and springiness)
CSC-3PLY and CS-2PLY are made of stainless steel instead of mild steel compared to CMC-3PLY for greater strength and are widely used where springiness is required due to their higher elasticity.
* Alternative materials: phosphor bronze, beryllium copper, electric copper
Busbar
CAC-3PLY combines the excellent electrical conductivity and heat dissipation of copper with the lightweight properties of aluminum. Aluminum allows for better formability and more affordable pricing.
CAC-3PLY is widely used in representative busbars in the electrical distribution field, and can be applied to any range where relatively thick copper is used and high electrical conduction efficiency is required.
* Alternative materials: Electro-mechanical for bus bars
sleeve
CA-2PLY is a material that prevents corrosion that can occur when combining copper and aluminum wires. Due to corrosion due to the potential difference between copper and aluminum, heat generation and damage to wires and sleeves can lead to fire, so a solution for this corrosion is needed.
CA-2PLY is one of the solutions to eliminate this problem.
